About Us

Hains & Lewis was established in May 1996 following the merger of the practices of Victoria Hains and Daniel Lewis. Prior to the merger Vicki had practised as a sole practitioner since 1991 and Dan since 1994. Previously, both had been partners in solicitors’ firms, in Pembrokeshire and in London, respectively.

Over the years the firm has grown and in 2006 merged with another local firm Jones & Jones. In 2008 the firm incorporated as Hains & Lewis Ltd and Christopher Taylor, a senior solicitor in the Family Department joined Vicki and Dan as directors. In 2009 Sharon Knox, who is now head of the Child Law Department, was appointed as a director. In October 2015 the firm merged with Nicola Gwynn Solicitors of Fishguard and in November 2016 following the closure of TOL Llewellin, Solicitors in Haverfordwest Eloise Llewellin joined Hains & Lewis and both she and the firm welcomes any former clients of TOL Llewellin.
