Sharon Knox
Sharon returned home to Pembrokeshire after studying at Keele University and Chester College of Law. She joined Hains & Lewis as a Trainee Solicitor in 1996.
During her career she has gained experience in a number of areas of law but specialises in child law, particularly where the Social Services are involved. She now deals with care proceedings and represents parents and other family members in relation to issues in which social services are involved, including cases involving neglect, emotional harm and allegations of abuse. In addition, she also represents clients seeking contact with their children /grandchildren/family in Child Arrangements (previously known as residence and contact), Children’s Guardian and Special Guardianship Proceedings.
She has a sympathetic and calm approach and deals with clients in a thoughtful and sensitive manner at a very difficult time. She is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel and a committee member of the West Wales Law Society
Outside of work she is a Senior Steward of the South West Wales Methodist Circuit and enjoys reading and walking her dog.
