Sharon returned home to Pembrokeshire after studying at Keele University and Chester College of Law. She joined Hains & Lewis as a Trainee Solicitor in 1996. During her career she has gained experience in a number of areas of law but specialises in child law, particularly where the Social Services are involved. She has a sympathetic and calm approach and deals with clients in a thoughtful and sensitive manner at a very difficult time. She is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel.
Outside of work she is a Sunday School teacher and a governor of a local primary school.
